I'm astonished at the spending power of chinese youth (making an example out of my co-worker) - frequenting expensive restaurants, having the latest electronic gadgets, splurged hundreds on a nondescript gucci money clip, among others. All these expenditure that is entirely not proportionate to their salaries yet they seem to afford these material comforts just fine.
