Weekend Up-Tos #2

Got the keys to my new place. It's clean, it's tiny, it's local and I'm starting to get excited. Would be perfect if there is a small dining/ living room area.

Haven't played badminton in ages, it does give the arms and ass a good workout.

Art Salon never disappoints.

Buying sheets, pillowcases and comforters (all white of course, no thanks to my previous roomie E who works in hospitality) for the very first time.

Xujiahui isn't that awful I suppose, especially if one gets a good bargain for a wireless router and laptop speakers without the need to sift through annoying salespeople.

Talking to MK over the phone at 3am was nice. What's not so nice was he didn't call again like he said he would, bleh.

  • My new unhealthy looping obsession is with Kevlarsjäl, I'm not sure why but I came across this image yesterday and it seems rather apt for the song.

  • Incredible bad luck with video hosting sites of late - first YouTube was down, when it's not, I have trouble uploading files. Resorting to Tudou only means I've got to wait 24h before video can go live and picture quality sucks. Woe to my video posts.

  • Tomorrow is 'Dress Like a Superhero' Day, gosh I need to figure my favorite superhero and incorporate elements into what I wear . I don't have any masks, and I hope not to resort to tights as spandex substitutes.

  • Midweek surprise is about spending time with MK, movie, pepparkakor, conversations and all. The best yet so far.

Chosŏn Vs. Hanguk

Most of the tickets had been snapped up by South Koreans even before they were released to the public, so tickets had been almost impossible to obtain in China. Thanks to a friend, we managed to get in for free with staff passes. The atmosphere was electrifying, cheering fan contingents from both sides were just as exciting to watch as the game itself.
